Tents are considered temporary structures and may require a permit depending on the size. Our staff works with clients and numerous municipalities throughout the permitting process to ensure local fire requirements are met and correct permits are in place for each event.
Our event consultants are committed to making our clients aware of the tent permitting process including the fees associated with complying to your local government policies. Our team will manage this process for you by collecting the appropriate permits and will add the required safety package onto your contract. Rent-E-Quip's safety package will include the correct number of fire extinguishers, no smoking signs and exit signs based on the size of the tent. The flame retardant certificates and the onsite meeting with the Fire Marshal will also be provided with any event requiring these services.
